Description

WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?

The Leg/Arm Bandaging Supports – Bariatric have been designed to take the weight of a large, heavy, or bariatric leg or arm when bandages are being applied.

The firm foam has convolutions where the leg, ankle, heel, upper arm, wrist, or hand rests. This helps prevent excessive pressure under the leg or arm. The heat-sealed cover is easy to wipe clean, making it suitable for hospitals where infection control is very important.

Ensure the leg or arm is supported correctly to prevent it from falling.

The Leg/Arm Bandaging Supports are designed for fitting a bandage to someone lying in bed. This may require less bending for the carer than applying the bandage to someone seated in a chair.

WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?

The Leg/Arm Bandaging Supports are suitable for carers when bandaging a leg or arm. This may include:

  • Nurses
  • Carers
  • Community nursing organisations
  • Hospitals
  • Aged care facilities
  • Day surgeries
  • Doctors’ surgeries

BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

For holding a leg, place one Support under the back of the knee and the other under the heel or ankle. For holding an arm, place one Support under the upper arm and one under the wrist or hand.

WARNING
